Inspired by the minimalist films of directors like Abbas Kiarostami, Chantal Akerman, and Kelly Reichardt, Moss Beach is a film currently in post-production by a crew in New York City.
The story details the relationship between an aunt and her niece through conversations about literature, growing up, and how language can lead to both connection and distance to those around us. Besides these two central characters, another character of the project is the city of San Francisco, and the foggy, moss-covered coast of Northern California.

Our team consists of young movie and theater professionals with a desire to collaborate on an independent film outside of working hours. After wrapping production in the Fall and post-production by the end of 2022, we are now in the proccess of applying to film festivals.
